The Story

Harley and Dad are off to explore the mighty Colorado River!

With his bright blue life jacket and trusty snack pouch, Harley hops aboard a raft for a day of splashy adventure. The river twists through canyons so tall Harley has to tilt his head all the way back to see the sky. He keeps a close eye out for snack-eating fish, roaring rapids, and floating sticks that might secretly be treasure.

When the ride finally slows, Dad and Harley share a riverside snack and watch the sunset paint the cliffs gold — proof that the biggest adventures often start with small paws.

Story Collectible

Harley’s Raft Paddle

A bright orange paddle with a blue handle — small enough for Harley’s paws, strong enough to “help” Dad steer. Decorated with a pawprint sticker and a tiny bite mark (for testing snack floatability).

Harley's note: "I tested it several times!"

Fun Facts

The River That Carved a Canyon: The Colorado River helped form the Grand Canyon over millions of years, carving rock with patience and power. Harley says it’s “the world’s longest fetch hole.”
Rafts Ride the Energy: White-water rapids aren’t just chaos — they’re caused by fast-moving water hitting rocks and dropping in elevation. Harley thinks it feels like zoomies, but wetter.
Behind the Scenes: This story was inspired by Dad’s real rafting trip — minus the snacks, plus a very soggy hat. Harley wasn’t invited that time, but he insists his version is better (and includes more biscuits).
