The Story
After their beach day, Dad surprises Harley with a shiny sidecar motorcycle. Harley puts on his goggles, grinning so wide his ears flap in the wind. “This is the best day ever!”
In Green Gables, they explore the paths that inspired Anne’s adventures. Harley declares himself “Anne of a Thousand Snacks,” while Dad laughs until he nearly drops his camera.
At the market, Harley spots a bright orange plush fox strumming a tiny fiddle. “Meet Fiddler!” he yips. Dad chuckles. “Then I’ll take this wise fellow” — and picks up Edward the Potato. Two plushies, one island, and hearts full of joy.
Plushie of the Chapter
With bright orange fur and a fiddle always close by, Fiddler is lively, clever, and full of music. He loves moonlit beaches, storytelling, and finding rhythm in the sound of waves.
Fiddler believes every day should end with a song and a smile. He’s quick to laugh, quicker to dance, and his tune always makes Harley wag his tail.
Harley’s note: “Fiddler can play ‘Oh Canada’ in three barks and a wag!”
Honourable Mention
Calm, steady, and endlessly patient, Edward is Dad’s PEI souvenir and Harley’s quiet companion. He believes in slow mornings, warm tea, and good company.
Edward’s wisdom: “You don’t need to be flashy to make an impact. Sometimes, being grounded is the best superpower of all.”
